Dry Fly Fishing vs. Wet/ Nymph Fishing

Back to Articles Homepage

This can be as heated a discussion as “Keystone Resort” vs. “Breckinridge Resort”, “Republican” vs. “Democrat”, “Curling” vs. “Lawn Bowling” or even “Spin Fishing” vs. “Fly Fishing”.  I feel that you just need to stay true to what you enjoy no matter what others believe in.  That being said…. You should always be willing to give something new its fair share of time to find out what it is about before pushing it aside.

I believe that I catch more and sometimes bigger fish on a nymph or other type of wet fly, but I still prefer to catch only one on a dry fly.  Watching the fish rise up and take your fly is a feeling that I don’t believe can be described.  I think we all feel something different but it is just as addictive.

i AM CURRENTLY WORKING ON THE COMPLETED VERSION OF THIS STAY TUNED
